Four pages of a letter written by an unknown soldier of 5th Siege Battery to his father on October 5, 1916 while sailing to England, and continued on October 7, 1916 from Witley Camp, England, but last page with signature is missing. The letter is written on Y.M.C.A. letterhead paper.

  • If you cannot read a word, enter [illegible]. If you are making an educated guess, enter the word in square brackets with a question mark, ie [shipyard?]
