Narrative: This seat, and the matching back, were found by Peggy Armstrong in her home in Granville Beach, Nova Scotia. 
Description: Porcupine quill painted in teal, red, black, yellow and some left natural are arranged in a decorative fashion on a birch bark backing. Motif in centre displays a star design with eight points in the centre of a circle. On either side of this circle, is a square featuring four triangles framing a circle in the very centre. Along the top and bottom of the seat are sections featuring semi-circles and triangles surrounded by a black background. Design is mounted on birch bark. In the shape of a seat for a rocking chair.
