Scope & Content: A receipt from the D. Ross Cochrane Rexall Drug Store dated June 17, 1955. Receipt was for items purchased on that day.
Description: A vertically rectangular piece of paper, from the top to the bottom of the page, in cursive the first line says, Main St.   Phone 624. Underneath that line are two holes punched into the paper approximately a centimeter in from each side of the paper. Roughly, in between the two holes it says, THE Rexall STORE. The two lines underneath say, D. Ross Cochrane    Dispensing Pharmacist. Underneath that is a place for the store clerk to write the date and name of patron. It says, Wolfville, N. S. proceeding is an underline for the clerk to write the date in pencil, Jan 17./55. The line underneath is for patron name, it says, M proceeding by an underline for clerk to write name, Mr. L. G. Pearman. The remaining 55% of the page underneath is a chart, clearly stating from left to write, Quantity, Description and amount. In pencil under description, the clerk wrote the patron's two items and underneath the items written by the clerk it says Paid Jan 31st/55 then the name of the clerk (illegible). To the write of the items written, under amount it says, 05  49  54. There is manufacturing details and received by space underneath the chart.
