Description:

Wood and silver metal smoothing plane. The body of the plane has been painted black and on one side of the plane numbers 101408672 have been scratched into the metal. The wooden handles have been shellacked and held in place with a screw.

History of Use:

The original owner was Avard Wright, February  27, 1927 to October 2, 2008. The smoothing plane was made in the United States.
