Description:

Oval shaped opening, edged in gold; frontal picture of King George and Queen Elizabeth in side view surrounded by laurel wreath which is surrounded by Union Jack Red Ensign, Flag of St. George and Blue and White Falg of Scotland. Scrolled band on bottom with message "King George VI, Queen Elizabeth, Royal Visit in Canada" and topped with Crown of England. May 2, 1939. The main shape is square. Gold trim surrounds top of pitcher and handle. The back of the pitcher has a sketch of the Maple Leaf, supported by letters in blue of G & E and at the top of a burst of sun rays, with CANADA written in the centre.
