Description:

Boston style rocking chair.  Gold design on comb of chair, seven spindles across the back and two on each arm.  Each spindle has yellow bands and the ports have there yellow bands.  Seat is made of wicker with brown on bottom. Each arm rests on four spindles. 

History of Use:

Rocking chair was donated to the Queens County Historical Society by Dr Ross Harrington in memory of the Misses Georgia and Blanche Harrington.
