Narrative: This certificate commemorates the number of years that George M. Pineo was a member of the "Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen" (40 years in 1959). G.M. Pineo was the donor's great uncle who died in 1961. The certificate and the rest of the collection passed to G.M. Pineo's sister Louise Forsythe. She was the donor's grandmother, then it was passed to the donor's mother Anne Milne (of Kentville) who passed it to her son Peter Milne. G.M. Pineo was also a member of Lodge 723.
Description: Small, rectangular, white certificate. Blue lettering with a train illustration on top right corner and a circular crest on lower, middle edge. Small pin hole in center. (40 years membership).
