History of Use:

The original owner of the violin was Alexander Dennison. Alexander was the son of John Ellis an Ulster-Scot who immigrated to Nova Scotia around 1770. He originally setled in Shubenacadie, but later moved to Eastville. The violin was passed through the family.

Bow is French made and the violin is either English, or German.
