Description: a rectangular serving dish on a slightly raised base and solid squared-edge handles at either end.  It has an under glaze blue transfer depicting an Italian countryside village.  The inner edge of the bowl has a decorative border.  The lid has the same border as the inside of the bowl and the centre section of the lid repeats the Italian countryside scene.  The centre of the lid has a substantially raised conical handle and there is a notch out on the edge of the lid to allow the handle of the sauce ladle to protrude.
