Description: Cream coloured infant carriage coat in corduroy. Two buttons on bodice. Ribbon ties on collar. Two of fabric gathered into collar - layer one has a machine embroidered edge. Second layer corduroy trimmed with three bands of machine made tape. Lined with a cream sateen.
History of Use: Infant carriage coat belonged to John Burges Calkin, grandson of J.B. Calkin, Principle of the Normal School (1904-1959).
