Narrative: The petit-point seat was started by Paula Booher's Aunt Peg (Margaret Geary) just prior to the start of World War II. After the war Paula's mother, Doris Geary Hepburn completed the work. It was a 10-year project.
Description: A George III mahogany reproduction elbow chair with inlay on the back and a double 'x' splat-back.
History of Use: petite-point seat was hand-sewn by Paula Booher's mother and aunt
