Description:

Bomb in glass case,mounted on wood stand.  Shell is lead held in place with brass bands.  Brass plate inscribed " Presented to I.O.D.E.. Liverpool,N.S. Nov. 9,1942.  From H.M.C.S. BRANDON.  Green felt floor, oak framed case. - 5 glass sides.

History of Use:

Inscription:  German Incendiary Bomb dropped on South Shields, Eng., near above ship Winter 41-42.  Manufactured in 1936.  Souvenir of 2nd. World War given to I.O.D.E
