Narrative: Made in Nova Scotia somewhere between Halifax and Truro, mid 1800s.
Description: Reddish earthenware batter pitcher with an applied handle and a shaped spout. There is a reddish lead glaze on the exterior, and cream slip on the interior. A 5cm band around the base is not glazed. There are two bands of line decorations around the circumference in upper section.
