Narrative: Broken in the Halifax Explosion of 1917.
Description: Large porcelain punchbowl hand painted with Chinese themes. The interior has a band at rim in red and white with green flowers and gold flowers alternating with four scenes of turquoise rocks and burgundy trees with white blossoms, greenery and building. In centre is a similar but larger scene. The exterior decoration is scenery - pagodas, sampan, trees, land, as above.
